These rankings are the calculation of statistical fact.
It contains no opinions or intangible bias. Every fighter is put up against the same scoring system.
You gain points for wins and lose points for losses. The number of points is related to how successful your opponent is.
If
you beat a highly ranked opponent, you would get more points than you
would for beating a lower ranked opponent.
Conversely, you lose less
points for a loss against someone high on the list compared to losing
to someone low on the list.
Additionally, you remain linked to your
opponent until your fight with them "expires". Every fighter's profile
consists of their fights from the last 3 years within a certain weight
division. Each fighter counts their best six wins, if they have that
many, and their worst 6 losses, if they have that many. The fighters
at the top are those who have successful records against other fighters
with successful records. If you feel that a win/loss record for a
fighter is not being properly represented, you can send statistical
fact to info@cageranks.com |
